About Project

Once Upon a Muse Photography is a brand created for a photographer passionate about capturing life through a romantic, storytelling-driven lens. Originally rooted in a location-based identity, the brand evolved to reflect a deeper vision—one centered on emotion, nostalgia, and the art of making everyday moments feel cinematic and meaningful.
The design direction embraces softness, storytelling, and vintage-inspired elegance. A handwritten wordmark was chosen for the primary logo to feel personal and intimate, like a signature at the end of a love letter. This is paired with a refined serif typeface to ground the identity with structure and timelessness, balancing expression with sophistication.
Symbolism plays a key role throughout the brand. A wax seal–inspired submark reinforces themes of keepsakes and meaningful moments, while a heart locket logo mark represents nostalgia, sentiment, and imagery that feels deeply personal and cherished. Supporting elements were inspired by details that evoke romance and memory, helping build a visual world that feels immersive, emotional, and story-rich.
The color palette balances warmth and softness with a slightly grounded, vintage tone, allowing the brand to feel dreamy without becoming overly delicate. Deliverables for this project included a logo suite, curated color palette, and typography pairing, creating a cohesive and expressive foundation for a storytelling-driven brand.
